Who knows if the old saying is true but a red sky at night is a lovely sight all the same - while sitting on the terrace with a glass of vino of course...

Back to school

After 3 weeks of school holidays with Christmas, Adam's birthday and New Year visiting we are all happy to get back into some king of (quieter) routine getting back to school and work. The gamble of Steven turning down the chance to return to his full-time job in Murcia last September to get teaching work locally seems to have paid off. He now has almost as many teaching hours (between 3 academies - both in Cehegín and Caravaca) but without the long travelling time. He's always home for lunch so gets to see Adam more than before. I am also helping out at an academy in town with 8 classes a week and I take my little helper with me. Adam gets paid 50c a class and is happy with his "good deal".

Sierra Nevada

We had a day trip to the Sierra Nevada early in the New Year. It was a fantastic day out and Adam was delighted to find and be able to play in the snow as we haven't had any in Cehegin this year.
